TechFides — July 2026
Here is an uncomfortable number: most paper business cards are thrown out within a week. Every one of those cards was a real introduction — a conference, a delegation, a handshake you paid to be in the room for. And by Friday it's in a hotel trash can, and nobody follows up, and the deal that could have happened quietly doesn't.
We built the SmartCard because we got tired of that math. Today we're rolling out the full lineup — including a free tier and a metal card we're genuinely proud of.
What a SmartCard actually does
A SmartCard is a digital business card that works on any phone — tap it, scan it, or text it, nothing to install. But handing over your contact details is where the ordinary card apps stop, and where ours starts working.
When someone taps your card, it captures the moment: where you met, what they're interested in, how to reach them. The lead lands in your inbox and your pipeline instantly, with reply-to set to them. An AI concierge on the card answers their questions in five languages while you're still shaking hands. And when a deal closes, the revenue traces back to the handshake that started it — so you finally know which rooms are worth your time.
The new lineup
Free. Your first SmartCard is on us. Your branded page, photo, one-tap save, QR code, and a lock-screen wallpaper card. Watermarked, and we set it up for you — live in 48 hours. If you've never carried a digital card, start here. It costs nothing to find out why people don't go back to paper.
Solo — $99 setup, $29 a month. The watermark comes off, the intelligence comes on: the AI concierge, lead capture to your inbox and CRM, and revenue attribution. A plastic QR card is included.
Team — $99 setup, $12 per person a month. Everything in Solo for every seat, plus the owner cockpit: leads route to the right rep, every handshake is tracked per seat, and the whole team's cards push out in one click. A ten-person team runs $120 a month. One recovered deal a quarter pays for the whole team for a year.
Sovereign / White-Label — let's talk. For government, international organizations, and large companies: the entire platform under your brand, on your infrastructure, with your database. SSO, audit logging, executive duty-of-care for people who travel, and member programs for chambers and associations. Priced on risk reduction and data sovereignty, not per seat.
Annual prepay gets two months free on the paid tiers.
The Executive Edition
Every paid seat includes a plastic QR card. But some introductions deserve more weight — literally.
The Executive Edition is a luxury metal NFC card: engraved, dual-material, matte black with the TechFides speed-mark in silver. It's real, it's printed, and the first ones are already in circulation — card № 001 is in our founder's pocket. Tap it against any phone and your live card opens. It's $179, and it makes exactly the first impression you'd expect a metal card to make.
Why this one is different
The well-known card apps hold your contacts on their platform. Your relationship graph — every person you've ever met professionally — lives on someone else's servers, under someone else's terms.
Every SmartCard tier keeps that graph off third-party card platforms. And on Sovereign deployments, the whole system runs on hardware you own — nothing leaves your building. That's the same principle behind everything we install: Own Your AI.
